Last summer I held a contest on facebook for a free engagement or portrait session. One of the entrants was Keri. Keri already had her engagement session but was in need of a wedding photographer. She gave me the compliment of the century by saying she had been searching for months for the perfect photographer…and I was it. Needless to say, I loved her from the get go! A little while later, Keri tells me about this awesome new wedding blog that she and her friend Krista are starting called The East Coast Bride. Are you kidding me?! My bride is starting a wedding blog?! I felt like a proud proud mama! Over the past few months The East Coast Bride has blossomed into a terrific resource for brides. They feature real weddings, have real brides blogging their wedding planning experiences, and have already attracted the work of many fantastic photographers. Oh, and they have over 2,600 likes on their facebook page!
And if that is not enough, Keri and Krista are also starting a new branch of their business – event planning! It was such an honor to help them photograph their first styled event. For any future brides (and Maids of Honor) out there, you have got to have your bachelorette party at Dakini Movement and styled by Keri and Krista. Seriously, contact Jeanine at Dakini and have a pole dancing party! It was awesome!
Not only do these cupcakes LOOK amazing, but they TASTE amazing too!
I love how the pink layers of cake gradually get darker!
How cute are those striped straws??
That’s Keri in the light pink shirt and Krista in the dark pink! What stinkin’ cuties!
